Francesco Saviano:  Founding Partner, Producer

Francesco Saviano has been working in New York's film industry for fifteen years as a writer, director, producer and cinematographer for both studio productions and his own independent production company. His films have appeared in premiere festivals both in the United States and abroad, including the Vancouver International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and the New York Television Festival in NYC. Through his production company Unarmed Media, as well as through his strong relationships within the filmmaking and entertainment industry, Francesco has been directing and producing films and commercials all over the world. He is currently directing On The Line, a feature documentary on professional boxers and the long-shot nature of becoming a champion in one of the most unforgiving of all sports.

 
 
 

Marika Hacking:  Partner, Cinematographer, Editor

Marika Hacking is a New York based editor, director, cinematographer and illustrator and co-founder of the production company, Unarmed Media. Along with her commercial editing work for a diverse range of clients from Verizon to NPR, Marika has traveled the world shooting narrative and documentary films. She is passionate about storytelling and bringing to life the personal journeys and issues faced by underrepresented people and communities. Having just edited the narrative short film DUO, featuring Adam Lindo (Orange is the New Black) and Michael Buscemi (BlacKkKlansman), she is currently the editor on a documentary feature film that follows the world champion women boxers training out of the famed Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, New York.

 
 

David Cieri:  Composer, Musical Director

David Cieri, a musician and composer, makes music for film, concert, and album release. Cieri has worked with numerous celebrated filmmakers including Ken Burns, the Ewers Brothers, and Barak Goodman. He has recorded nine acclaimed albums under his own name, that last three of which were released by Ropeadope Records. He has collaborated on a major live documentary project with the two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and has made two records with the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa. David wrote and performed the live scores for the first two seasons of The Paris Review podcasts. He teaches courses on Film Scoring and Music for Film at The City College of New York.
